Netscape 7.0 is a web browser developed by Netscape Communications Corporation, available for download in full install version for Windows platforms from legacy sources. Netscape 7.0 is developed using Open Source rendering engine Gecko and based on Mozilla 1.0.1 code base. There are many new features added in this edition which includes tabbed browsing, full screen mode, print preview, update notification, protocol, download manager etc. 

API support extended to protocols like Privacy Preference Project (P3P), IMAP Shared folders and secured LDAP. The developers removed the pop-up blocker function which annoyed the user community.
